Manchester Our Town Hall Project
Manchester's Our Town Hall Project. Working as part of the specialist decorations team on the renovation of Manchester's grade 1 listed town hall. Using a wide array of techniques and expertise to repair and renovate the 150 year old special decorations of the town hall. Colour matching, reinstatement of original decorations, cleaning and preserving painted surfaces in line with guidelines set out by English Heritage.
Manchester Trafford centre
Manchester Trafford Centre, Barton Square redevelopement. Working as part of the specialist decorating team in an extensive redevelopement project painting plaster columns in a variety of marble effects and gold gilding particular architectural details.
organised confusion - Fine art exhibition piece
Project aimed at visually depicting a stream of consciousness and the intricate connections contained within our individual thought patterns. Large scale 6' x 8' piece Hand drawn on MDF boards, the visual imagery created is an attempt to depict the evergoing thought processes of the inner mind with all of its interconnecting memories and experiences that determine our outlook and behaviour. Taking around 4 months to complete this piece is an ongoing project which, much like the activity of a sentient human mind, has the potential to be never ending.
croydon town centre mural
Working in partnership with Croydon Council in the creation of a Mural to be installed in the town centre. This project was part of a drive by the council to pedestrianize certain parts of the town centre and improve access in and around Croydon. The council commisioned a piece of artwork to be designed that paid homage to Croydon and the finalised design, featuring some of Croydons most iconic architecture and its CR0 postcode, brought a vibrance to the newly closed road now used solely for pedestrian access.
